get to know me
With a background in social work, I’ve always been drawn to helping people — understanding their stories, creating balance, and finding beauty in the everyday. I’ve come to see interior design as a kindred art: when a home evokes comfort, passion, and ease, it shapes the rhythm of daily life — influencing mood, organization, and the quiet sense of safety we all crave.
Design has always been a part of my story. My mom, who has experience working in interior design, encouraged creativity from an early age, giving me free rein to transform my bedroom and sew to create my own fashion. My dad is a real estate aficionado — I grew up spending Sundays touring open houses and imagining the lives and characters that lived within them. Having moved frequently, I learned early that “home” isn’t a fixed place. It’s built from the pieces you gather — your art, your memories, your heirlooms from each season of life — more than it is from any set of walls.
Renovating my own 1969 mid-century modern split-level ranch deepened that belief. The process of reimagining something familiar and creating new life within the same space was transformative — a reminder that possibility lives everywhere if you look closely enough.
Through Forage House Interiors, I share that philosophy. Here, you’ll find details from my own home — paint colors, tile selections, and wood stain formulas — alongside accessible styling guides, inspiration for reimagining what you already own, and tips for creating spaces rooted in individuality and intention. My hope is to help others gather their homes piece by piece — creating spaces that feel soulful, collected, and deeply personal.
